Einleitung

Es ist nicht immer einfach, den zahlreichen Patches und Hotfixes für eine Windows NT basierte Maschine Herr zu werden. Abhilfe will hier das Tool HFNetChk.exe sorgen, das ebenfalls auch von Microsoft ausgeliefert wird.

Voraussetzungen

Das Tool HFNetChk.exe unterstützt folgende Produkte:

• Windows NT 4.0
• Windows NT Terminal Server
• Windows 2000
• Windows XP
• Internet Infomration Server (IIS) Versionen 4, 5
• SQL Server 7.0 und 2000 (inkl. MSDE)
• Exchange Server 5.5 und 2000
• Windows Media Player
• Frontpage Server Extensions
• Java Virtual Machine (Microsoft JVM)
• Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC)
• Internet Explorer ab Version 5.01

Anwendung

Die Anwendung gestaltet sich einfach: Das Tool einfach mittels Doppelklick installieren und danach mittels der Eingabeaufforderung ausführen:
